The Fab 5: The Texas Cheerleading Scandal [18 Mar 2009|03:27pm]

I'm not sure if you guys saw The Fab 5: The Texas Cheerleading Scandal. It premiered in August and was played on New Years eve also. My friend Ashlynn played Tabitha and I made a few icons. I need screen caps to make other icons from the movie tho. Thought you might enjoy!

Gracie's Choice [20 Aug 2008|03:54pm]

Gracie’s Choice Sparks the Heart and Head (Kristen Bell Delivered in this True Story)

Excerpt: I sought this Lifetime DVD out because it stars one of my favorite actresses, Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Heroes). Bell acts in this wonderfully, as does Anne Heche (Men in Trees). But that is the last you’ll hear about them in this review. I could gush at how cute Kristen is (believe me, I could!) but I’m going to focus and simply share with you why I loved this story.

[24 Feb 2008|05:43pm]

Hey everyone!

I'm a college student writing a big paper on recent Lifetime movies, specifically She's Too young, Queen Size, and To Be Fat Like Me. I'm discussing how these movies show how Lifetime is trying to create a new audience comprised of mothers and daughters (since all of these films focus on mother/daughter relationships centered around teen issues).

The Lifetime websites for these films is helpful, especially the She's Too Young site, since several young girls have commented about it. However, the other two movies (especially To be Fat Like Me) don't have the most helpful comments coming from younger people.

If you're a Lifetime viewer under the age of 25 OR you're the mother of a teenage daughter that has any positive comments about Queen Size or To Be Fat Like Me, could you please share them? Why did you like the films, etc? Thanks guys!!!

Mom at Sixteen [05 Nov 2007|11:03pm]

There was a movie that came out in 2005, a Lifetime movie called Mom at Sixteen

I really like the song that is played at the very beginning and NEED to find out what it is called.  At one time on the lifetime website it said it was called Proud to Love You by Leigh Nash, she is the lead singer from Sixpence None the Richer.  But I have tried for years to find it and can't.  But what I found looks like it could be called Proud to Lose You.

Here is what I think the lyrics are.  This is the first line of the long.

i love you with a fearless heart, so why am I afraid, I know that I can't change your course, but there is no other way, you're walking through an open door, I can only watch you leave, this heart will always be your home, _____ sail away from me, i'm proud to lose you, it's hard to let you go, i'm proud to lose you, you're beautiful alone.

Any clue?

HELP! [29 Jul 2007|01:34am]

I am trying to track down information regarding a specific episode I remember from the TV show, Strong Medicine.

During this episode, Peter (R.N.) was examining a lady with a couple of kids. The mom gave the little kids a digital camera to keep them busy. They were taking pictures of each other. One of the kids asked Peter to look at one of the pictures and he noticed that there was only one red eye. Apparently, this was not good at all. I don't remember the rest.

I was looking at pictures of my newest neice and noticed many of the pictures only had ONE red eye just like that kid on Strong Medicine. I remembered that episode & freaked out. I'm finding absolutely NOTHING on the internet. I cannot remember anything more from the episode, so any additional information you can provide would help so much.

Request: Post Mortem (I Know What I Saw) [23 Jul 2007|02:07pm]

I'm a Canadian fan of Geraint Wyn Davies and would be very interested in seeing the movie, Post Mortem (I Know What I Saw) that was shown on Lifetime Cable last night. It's apparently being re-run on July 28 at 5pm ET.

Would anyone be able to record/upload this movie, or direct me to a community where this post might find a helpful supplier at?

Thanks. :)

New to LJ [22 Apr 2007|03:18pm]

Wow, no new posts since 10/06?  I love Lifetime...watching it right now, in fact.  I'm 30 and reside in PA.

I was trying to see if there was a community for the "true story" movies on Lifetime, but didn't see anything.  So I figured looking for a general Lifetime tv group was the next best thing!

Enjoy the shows and movies!

Hello! [18 Oct 2006|12:08pm]

Hi. I'm Drew Waters and I found your community here because I'm in a new movie that is going to be on Lifetime Movie Network in November. (November 18th actually.) I've just recently started this blogging thing and checking stuff out online, so I decided to do a search on Lifetime and yours (and a couple of others that I hope to post to) popped up. i hope it's okay for a guy to post here...don't know a lot about the 'rules' at places like this.

Anyway, the movie is "Inspector Mom" and it stars Danica McKellar and myself. The trailer's at http://www.lmn.tv/movies/details.php?id=MOVE+3995 if you want to check it out. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out and we've gotten a lot of positivie feedback already, so I think it's going to be good. And once it airs, you can watch the webisodes online too.

Like I had mentioned, I'm new to all of this stuff, so if you'd like to stop by and check out my livejournal or friend me or anything, that's alright. I promise to give you scoops whenever I have them.

Anyway, thanks!

The Nanny Video [21 Aug 2006|11:29pm]

Hey guys!

My name is Joanna and I make music videos which are posted on my website Leave the Keys.

Anyway, I just finished my first video for The Nanny (Fran and Max) to the song "You and Me" by Lifehouse.

Not sure how good it is, or how it compares to my other vids or other vids for the same show, since it's been a long time since I really watched it (so I couldn't remember a lot of specific eps and things), but I did my best.

Please if you dl it, let me know what you think and comment on the tag board on the website!

Here's the link: Leave the Keys

Any Day Now Anyone miss it? [20 May 2006|01:16am]

[ mood | calm ]

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to ask if anyone misses Any Day Now on Lifetime I still cannot believe it's now on the Lifetime Real Women Channel instead of the original Lifetime where it used to be I miss this show so much I want it back because I don't have the Lifetime Real Women and it just sucks that Lifetime put the show on a channel that most people don't have....This show is still one of my favorites even though I can't see it anymore and it's been cancelled. I've watched from day one and loved it ever since. I don't even know why Lifetime put the show on the other channel. Sorry I just wanted to rant a bit I hope no one minds.

Question... [12 May 2006|05:23pm]
We watched the Lifetime movie "Homeless to Harvard" in school today, and I'm trying to figure out the name of one of the songs in the movie. It's playing when the girls are shoplifting and asking for money. It's a guy singing, and it's acoustic. Sorry, can't remember any of the lyrics.

If anyone could tell me the name of this song, I'd really appreciate it. <3
